A light novel series by Amagi Shuusuke and illustrated by Miyuu. Its official English subtitle, written on its cover pages, is "CHROME SHELLED REGIOS".
It was adapted into two drama CDs, three manga, a gag 4koma series and a 2009 anime series. It has a prequel series titled "Legend of Regios."
