The foremost main character of Love Live! School Idol Project, who decides to form the school idol unit μ's in order to save her school, Otonokizaka High, from closing. Her family runs a Japanese sweets shop, where she lives with her mother, father, and younger sister.

She wears her orange hair in a one side up and has blue eyes. Minami Kotori and Sonoda Umi are her childhood friends.
