Alternate identity of Kirisame Marisa in the Scarlet Devil Tower incident of Touhou LostWord. Until the Lost Word Incident in her world is resolved, Marisa is not present and an alternate personality is in control.
Some traits are important to keep in mind when determining if the character is the Witch of Scarlet Dreams, or just Marisa in red. First, her black hat and dress have turned red, her white hat ribbon has turned black, and her clothes are more damaged than normal. If these facts are missing, she's likely just Marisa wearing red. Next, her broom is thicker and looks like more than one broomstick twisted together like thin trees. If her broom is present and it's not in this thicker form, assume she's not the Witch of Scarlet Dreams unless otherwise indicated by the artist. Ignore this detail if the broom is not present.
