Kecleon is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon that is usually green, but a purplish variant has been seen in the anime and the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Regardless of its main body color, the remaining markings will be the same.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Its Abilities, Color Change and Protean, allow it to change its type during battle.
