Karl Marx was a German philosopher and co-author of The Communist Manifesto, along with Friedrich Engels, as well as author of Das Kapital.
As part of the 200th anniversary of Marx's birth, an initiative of the Chinese Communist Party released a donghua on the life of Marx called The Leader in early 2019.
