kampfer (mobile suit)
A fictional military mecha from the Gundam series. It first appeared in Gundam 0080.
MS-18E Kämpfer
A high-speed prototype assault mobile suit created by Zeon. Intended for close combat, it prioritized speed and armament over any sort of armor protection, being loaded with a variety of weapons - including chain mines, bazookas, shotguns, beam sabers, and panzerfausts.
Piloted by veteran Zeon soldier Mikhail Kaminsky.
The only known unit was deployed in a colony in the final days of the One Year War, where it rampaged and destroyed several Earth Federation mecha until being destroyed itself by the Gundam Alex.
