Titular Rider of Kamen Rider Wizard, twenty-third show of the Kamen Rider series and fourteenth of the Heisei generation, as well as the franchise's first magic-based Rider.

Souma Haruto is the survivor of a magic ritual under a solar eclipse that turned other human sacrifices like him into Phantoms, monsters that feed on their hosts' despair before killing and then imitating them to spread despair in turn. His ordeal granted him the ability to use magic, and with a set of rings and the Wizardriver given to him by a man in white, he sets off to bring hope and fight his fellow Phantoms as Kamen Rider Wizard.

Wizard's combat abilities are affected by Wizard Rings, which are divided into two types: Transformation Rings (on his left middle finger), which change his appearance and elemental specialty (Flame, Water, Hurricane and Land Styles); and Magic Rings (on his right), which give him miscellaneous powers, such as controlling WizarDragon, his personal Phantom.
