Lead rider of Kamen Rider Ghost, twenty-sixth show of the Kamen Rider series and seventeenth of the Heisei generation.

Tenkuuji Takeru is an aspiring ghost hunter who died protecting his childhood friend Tsukimura Akari from Ganma, creatures hunting after Eyecons, mysterious eyeball-shaped objects, only to be resurrected by a monk who also gives him a device with which, combined with an Eyecon he received from his supposedly-dead father, to transform into Ghost to fight off the Ganma, with the additional task of finding the fifteen remaining Eyecons in 99 days to make his resurrection permanent.

As Ghost, Takeru uses any Eyecon in his possession to summon Parka Ghosts, hooded jacket-like spirits representing famous historical figures, which grant him various combat forms and abilities.
