John Rambo is a troubled Vietnam War veteran and former U.S. Army Special Forces soldier who is skilled in many aspects of survival, weaponry, martial arts and guerrilla warfare. He has severe PTSD.

Rambo is played by Sylvester Stallone in all the movies of the film series.
