Jessie is the female half of the Team Rocket duo pursuing Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon anime and in Pokemon: The Electric Tale Of Pikachu. Her partner in crime is James.
In Japanese, she is named after the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi.
