A fictional manned combat giant robot from the Gundam mechaverse. It first appeared in the Char's Counterattack anime film from 1988.
MSN-03 Jagd Doga
An extensive modification of the Geara Doga for Newtype use. The two units produced were equipped with shields doubling as funnel pods on each arm and special armament for each of them - the unit piloted by the enhanced Newtype Quess Paraya was painted red with white accents, and was furnished with a mighty beam Gatling gun.
After Quess's reckless piloting costs the unit an arm and she moves into the Alpha Azieru, her Jagd Doga was kept in storage even after her death and Neo Zeon's defeat, and was later repaired with an arm from a Geara Doga, losing two thirds of its funnels in the process. Nevertheless, the unit proved itself as a menace even in the extremely cutting-edge environment of UC 0096.
