iwamoto squadron pilot (kancolle)
The equipment fairy representation of the real-life IJN aviator LTJG Tetsuzou Iwamoto (15 June 1916 – 20 May 1955).
Resembles Zuikaku since he was assigned to her fighter squadron from Pearl Harbor up to the battle of the Coral Sea.
In real life, Tetsuzou Iwamoto was the highest scoring WW2 fighter pilot ace of the Pacific Theater, amassing 80+ kills flying A6M Zeroes. He was also capable of night carrier operation, a rarity in the IJN (as they never fully developed night carrier ops in the same way as the Royal Navy and US Navy did).
