The Itsukushima Shrine (厳島神社 Itsukushima-jinja) is a Shinto shrine in the small island of Itsukushima located in Japan's Inland Sea. It is famous for its torii which is partially submerged in water during high tide and able to be approached during low tide, making it a beautiful sight and a popular tourist attraction.
