iterator (rain world)

In the game Rain World, Iterators are sapient artificial intelligences running on semi-biological supercomputers of colossal scale (large enough to build cities on top of). Most often an Iterator is depicted through its "puppet": a humanoid robot connected to the hardware via an umbilical cable. Each Iterator's puppet has a characteristic design which includes skin color, a unique forehead mark. and various styles of robot ears.

Two Iterators can be met in the course of regular gameplay:

• Looks to the Moon
• Five Pebbles

An additional three Iterators cannot be met, but have a canonical appearance and play a major role in the events and lore of the game.

• No Significant Harassment
• Seven Red Suns
• Sliver of Straw

Consistently, Moon and Straw take female pronouns (and Moon self-identifies as "Big Sis Moon"), Five Pebbles and NSH take male pronouns, while Seven Red Suns takes singular neuter "they".
