iowa (pacific)
The fanmade depiction of USS Iowa, hull number BB-61 as designed by jeanex for the Kantai Collection fanwork Pacific: World War II U.S. Navy Shipgirls.
Appearance wise, she has long black hair covered by a white, ribbon-brimmed sun hat, brown eyes with a mole under her right eye and large breasts. She wears a blue pleated lace-trimmed sailor dress with a black sailor collar, puffy short sleeves, a white scarf, white double trimming on the edges, a frilly hem and "US NAVY" written over the left breast pocket. She also wears white garter-strapped lace-trimmed thighhighs with blue ribbon trim in blue strappy heels. She has a blue ribbon on her right wrist, a cross necklace, and carries a blue umbrella. Overall, her design is intended as a counterpart and foil to Yamato's, being a classical American belle just as Yamato is an archetypal yamato nadeshiko.
