i-13 (kancolle)

Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese submarine I-13. Nicknamed "Hitomi". Character design by Shizuma Yoshinori, voiced by Imamura Ayaka.

She has short black hair with a single long strand on her left side, and brown tsurime eyes. Her default (and only) outfit is a school swimsuit shared with her sister I-14: hers has her name emblazoned over her hip. Over this, she wears a serafuku-style white shirt with a center breast cutout and white sailor collar, brown neckerchief, and partially fingerless black gloves.

Her rigging consists of headphones with a hat patterned off her real-life bow, her real-life conning tower/hangar on her right arm, and red rudder footwear.

History

The historical IJN I-13 had a severely short history, being commissioned only on December 16, 1944, and sunk by USS Anzio on July 16, 1945 while en route to an operation. Her abyssal counterpart (Abyssal Twin Princess (white)) is also presumed killed by the player in her final form and it references the real life I-13's fate.
