Hinata has red eyes and short brown hair (sometimes depicted as orange) with one side up. She wears a school uniform consisting of a blue pinafore dress, white shirt, white sailor collar, red bow, and white socks.

She is the younger sister of Hoshino Miyako and daughter of Hoshino Chizuru.

She is voiced by Nagae Rika.
