hornet ii (azur lane)
The personification of the Essex-class USS Hornet (CV-12) in Azur Lane. Not to be confused with her namesake predecessor, CV-8, although it is specified that Hornet II has the body and memories of the original Hornet but with Essex-class equipment and abilities.
Character design by Kurumi, voiced by Yamamoto Nozomi.
In her Essex-class form, she retains virtually all of her Yorktown-class dress attributes but with some updates.
She is still portrayed with long blonde hair tied into a pair of twintails and green eyes. Her attire still consists of a black bikini top, a pair of short shorts, and black thighhighs, though she now gains thigh straps above the thighhighs. She sports a pair of black fingerless elbow gloves that stop right before the knuckle and have a yellow stripe along their length, as well as a dashing cowboy hat, with a yellow belt and underside. Her black coat loses the number 8, however.
Her rigging is now the same as the Essex-class: a split flight deck, one half on each side.
