helldivers (series)

Helldivers Helldivers2 helldivers2fanart ヘルダイバー

A science fiction shooting video game series developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Set in a futuristic earth dubbed "Super Earth" where the player is part of the titular Helldivers space marines who spread DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM while beating up aliens and other undesirables. In reality, the government of Super Earth is actually an Authoritarian Fascist Empire of conquest that doesn't practice democracy but a fake one called "Managed Democracy", which they brainwashed their citizens through indoctrination, propaganda and harsh laws against anyone that dare questions the state.

A unique feature of the game is the "galactic campaign" is coordinated by every player's progress, regardless if they go solo or in a squad. Also friendly fire.
