heart-shaped eyes

When a character has literal hearts for eyes, like a cartoon character. Generally a sign of being love-struck.

This is NOT for when hearts are inside of a character's eyes (e.g., Danbooru post #751872). Instead, use heart-shaped pupils or heart in eye.
