hatsukaze (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Hatsukaze. Character design by Konishi, voiced by Bridcutt Sarah Emi.
She is portrayed with long blue in a hime cut, and blue eyes. Her default outfit is the Konishi-design Kagerou-class uniform (white shirt, black vest, black pleated skirt), with Hatsukaze's defined by her yellow ascot, white kneehighs, and brown loafers.
Her rigging consists of her bridge to her back, 61 cm quad torpedo tubes to her left, a 12.7 cm twin gun mount to her right, another 12.7 as a handgun, and two 25 mm anti-aircraft guns on thigh straps.

Personality and history
In real life, the destroyer Hatsukaze was sunk in an accidental collision with Myoukou. Because of this (and the general fact that most destroyers have little that distinguishes them from the dozens of other destroyers), she frequently refers to "Myoukou-onee-san," either running to Myoukou any time there is trouble, or saying that enemies aren't nearly as scary as Myoukou-onee-san. Because the collision specifically sheared off her bow, she is also often depicted with a disembodied head.
