handheld vacuum cleaner
A small lightweight hand portable vacuum cleaner that is normlaly battery powered. The first commercial ones were sold in the 70's by Black & Decker, after having developed the concept for NASA's Apollo Program. Black & Decker sold this style of vacuum under the trademark DustBuster, which due to popularity became a generalized trademark in some countries to refer to handheld vacuums as a whole.
