When a character has a hand near a weapon (especially the hilt) without holding or touching it.

Some common situations like:

• Ready to hold/touch a weapon that is already being held or carried. Sometimes it can be used together with ready to draw.
• Ready to hold/touch a weapon that is not held.
• A floating weapon that floating above hand or by telekinesis.
