gundam seed

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed is a mecha anime TV series that spans fifty episodes, which broadcasted in Japan from October 5, 2002 to September 27, 2003 on the JNN TV stations TBS and MBS. It has mecha designs by Ookawara Kunio and character designs by Hirai Hisashi.

Gundam Seed takes place in an alternate universe (Cosmic Era) and is constantly compared to the first series, Mobile Suit Gundam, which occur in the year 0079 (Universal Century).

It is very infamous for copying battle scenes from older Gundam series.
