Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is a free-to-play team battle and mecha action online multiplayer video game developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is set in the Gundam universe.
The player is a mobile suit pilot member of the P.M.U. (Private Military Union) mercenary group and fights in missions and battles using several different mecha from the Gundam U.C. (Universal Century) era.
Battle Operation 2 was released for Personal Computers and the PlayStation 4 home console in 2018, and was later ported to the PlayStation 5. It is still active to this day.
The PS4 version is notable because it's one of the few online multiplayer titles in that system that can be played completely for free without the need of purchasing a PlayStation Plus subscription service.
