Artifact from Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica associated with witches. Looks like a small dark metal spinning top, left behind when a witch is defeated. Puella Magi use Grief Seeds to cleanse the darkness from their Soul Gems incurred by magic use or negative emotions, but it is said that using the same Grief Seed too many times will revive the witch it belonged to.
