The first manga series in the Ginga Densetsu franchise, first beginning serialization in 1983 and running in Weekly Shounen Jump until 1987. An anime adaptation aired in 1986 for a total of 21 episodes.
The only series in the franchise to recieve a full English translation, being localized under the title Silver Fang: The Shooting Star Gin.
Focuses on Gin, an akita inu puppy who leaves his master to join a pack of wild dogs.
