An official 2022 side story project set in the Mospeada science fiction mecha anime universe.
Produced by Tatsunoko Production, Genesis Climber Mospeada: Genesis Breaker is a side story set in the original Kikou Souseiki Mospeada TV series timeline.
Aramaki Shinji and Kakinuma Hideki (Bubblegum Crisis, Armitage III, Gall Force, Junk Force), main staff of the original 80s series, are returning as mechanical designers for the new project.
Genesis Breaker will start serializing in Hobby JAPAN magazine in August 2022 with a story written by Kakinuma that is parallel to the events of the original series.
In accordance with the launch of the new project, Tokyo-based toy/figure manufacturer Sentinel company plans to release a 1/12 action figure of a new ride armor design for the series.
