gauntlets

A type of armor taking the form of padded, hardened, or metal gloves or mitts. A typical gauntlet will have a cuff that partially extends over the forearm with a flared opening suitable for use in conjunction with other arm protection, such as vambraces. For tagging, if it looks like a metal glove or mitten, it's probably a gauntlet.

Note: There are several senses of "gauntlet." For Danbooru purposes, use this tag only for the protective gear. Not to be confused with bridal gauntlets.
