garo (series)
Japanese tokusatsu franchise created by Amemiya Keita. Later added anime installments to its anthology.
While the locations, time periods, and power mechanics vary from series to series, each revolves around monster hunters known as makai knights. Tasked with tracking and slaying demons known as Horrors, they are each able to summon a mystical suit of armor, with the protagonist typically wielding the titular armor of the golden knight, Garo.
