garfish (spacecraft)

A fictional military spacecraft form the Kikou Souseiki Mospeada science fiction anime series from the 80s.

The Garfish is a type of human combat spacecraft designed for tactical space fleet operations. It functions as a small gunship or light attack cruiser and is equipped with six large missile launchers and a large three-barreled particle beam cannon turret under its main superstructure.

The Garfish is also used as a high speed space transport and it was used in more than one of the invasion fleets that attempted to recapture Earth from the Inbit. The lowest part of the ship has a three door launching bay that carries nine Legioss in armo-fighter mode.

The Garfishes that took part in the first two Earth Reclamation Invasion Fleets were painted blue and white while the ships of the Third Invasion Fleet were painted red and dark gray.
