frank tenpenny

Frank Tenpenny is a character and main antagonist in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

A corrupt Los Santos police officer, he leads CRASH (Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums), a police unit originally created to combat the gangs of Los Santos and the rising illegal drug trade, but has since become corrupt by also being involved in criminal activities including working with the drug gangs. Throughout the game, Tenpenny forces the main character Carl Johnson to help him cover up his corruption by threatening his family.

Tenpenny is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson while the character is based on real life Los Angeles Police officer Rafael Pérez, who was arrested for his crimes in the late 1990s when the CRASH unit he was in was exposed for corruption.
