forge (apex legends)

Apex Legends character originally announced as the new legend for Season 4 - before being promptly killed off and replaced by Revenant. His real name was James McCormick.

In reality, Forge was a red herring and never intended to be added to the game. He was announced for the sole purpose of throwing off dataminers and leakers who had already found Revenant's files in the game before his release, and the devs have admitted that his fake ability set wouldn't actually work in-game.
