fly agaric
A large red-capped mushroom with white spots, also known by its scientific name Amanita muscaria. Its distinctive features have made it the iconic toadstool in popular culture, notably as the inspiration for power-ups in the Mario series. It is a known hallucinogen but can be made edible by boiling.
