Flora is a character from Dragon Quest V. She is the daughter of a rich shipping magnate. After the hero completes some business for him, her father offers the hero her hand in marriage; the hero must then decide whether to marry Flora or his own childhood friend Bianca (or, in the Nintendo DS remake, the magnate's other daughter Deborah).
Her name in the official English version of the DS port is Nera; "Flora" comes from an earlier fan translation of the DQV script, and is a more accurate representation of her name in katakana ("Furora").
