Third J-RPG developed by Square Co., Ltd. (later Square Enix) for the Final Fantasy series. It was first released on the NES system in 27 April 1990, and later re-released on Nintendo DS as an enhanced remake in 2006.
The game follows four youthful orphans gathered together by a crystal, which exhorted them to restore harmony to the world by defeating the forces of darkness.
