Fallen Throne takes place on the precipice of political unrest in the Dark Elvish city of Vael'Aser. The country is on the brink of civil war and is facing challenges from a number of different factions. Nualia, Queen of the Dark Elves, faces determined opposition from Mujeri and her purist Sisters of Vael'Yun, and the loyalties of the Aristocracy are torn.

In order to maintain the unity of Vael'Aser, Nualia may have to reconsider her current policies and seek outside help to impose martial law and quell the internal conflicts. Despite the limited number of allies she has, the Queen will have to use every means at her disposal to achieve her goals.
