The FAD, also known as Dual Automatic Rifle (Spanish: Fusil Automático Doble) is an advanced Peru automatic weapon designed in 2008 by Salomón Braga Lozo of SIMA Electronica, a division of the state owned SIMA (Spanish: Servicio Industrial de la Marina) shipyards, based in the port of Callao , Peru.

The FAD is a futuristic looking assault rifle centered around the NATO 5.56x45mm cartridge that offers low recoil, low weight and volume while at the same time giving precision, adequate range and ergonomy coupled with a "pump-action" type 40 mm grenade launcher in a single package. It is also a light "Bullpup" rifle that can easily be used as a back-up weapon by armored crews.
