excalibur (soul eater)

Character from Soul Eater; his legend began in the 12th century. Voiced by Koyasu Takehito (JP) and Troy Baker (EN).

Much like his counterpart in Arturian legend, he takes on the form of a powerful sword when in the hands of a Meister.

Such strength, however, comes at a price; Excalibur is extremely abrasive, annoying, and an egotistical attention seeker that very few Meisters stay with him for long.

Thanks to his attention-seeking antics (complete with his own theme song, too) people who have encountered Excalibur in all his irritating glory have a facial expression reserved for it (the Excalibur face).
