The male protagonist of Tales of Symphonia Knight of Ratatosk. Emil is a wimpy, soft-spoken boy who forms a pact with Tenebrae to become a Knight of Ratatosk to protect Marta Lualdi. When he channels these powers, he becomes much more aggressive, and his eyes turn red. This form is given the nickname "Ratatosk Mode". Emil bears a grudge against Lloyd Irving because he believes the hero was responsible for the massacre that killed his parents. His seiyuu is Shimono Hiro.
