The evil scientific genius known as Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is the long-time nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. He's got the master plan, devising many schemes in attempts to destroy Sonic and conquer the world, but he fails 99% of the time; though he's very unpredictable.
He is Gerald Robotnik's grandson, and Maria Robotnik's cousin, and is also said to possess an IQ of 300.
Voiced in Japanese by Ohtsuka Chikao, Takiguchi Junpei (OVA) and Nakamura Koutarou. Dubbed in English by Deem Bristow), and Mike Pollock. As Dr. Robotnik, he has been voiced by Long John Baldry, Jim Cummings, and Garry Chalk. Jim Carrey portrays him in the live-action film franchise.
