digimon: the movie

Digimon: The Movie is 2000 compilation movie produced by 20th Century Fox for their Fox Kids division. It amalgates Digimon Adventure (1999 film), Digimon Adventure: Bokura no War Game, and around 20% of Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Jouriku!! Chouzetsu Shinka!! Ougon no Digimental, with all of the music being replaced with a new score from composers Udi Harpaz and Amotz Plessner. There are also, more notably, musical stings from popular bands at the time, like Smash Mouth and Barenaked Ladies.

The film was created as an attempt to cash in on the success of Pokémon the First Movie in the United States and elsewhere in the western world.
