MS-14D Desert Gelgoog

A ground-specific modification of the Zeon Gelgoog intended for operation on desert environments. It was mostly used by Neo Zeon and had a different, asymmetric head and exposed tubes to aid in cooling, as well as improved sensors to see through sandstorms, rocket propellers attached to the backpack which enabled the unit to jump higher, and the Armed Buster on its left arm, a powerful close-quarters weapon for last-ditch attacks.

One such Desert Gelgoog had the misfortune of picking a fight with the Byalant Custom during The Battle of Torrington, and was promptly mowed down when trying to attack the flying unit with its beam naginata.
