A character from Star Trek: The Next Generation. A lieutenant-commander in the operations branch of Starfleet stationed on the USS Enterprise, he is a Soong-type android who wishes to be human and experience emotions, and thus tries to understand the behaviors of humans. His personality is clearly supposed to resemble that of someone on the autism spectrum.
He has pale green eyes, brown slicked back hair and wears a yellow 2360s-era starfleet uniform. He is portrayed by the American actor Brent Spiner.
