Darker Than Black (Dākā Zan Burakku: Kuro no Keiyakusha) is a 2007 original anime series directed by Okamura Tensai and produced by Studio Bones. The story takes place a decade after a mysterious disaster changes the world, creating a zone known as Hell's Gate within Tokyo, and creates people known as contractors, whose powers and ruthlessness become sought after.
