The Daewoo Precision Industries K2 is a South Korean 5.56×45mm NATO assault rifle. It supplanted the M16A1 as the primary infantry weapon for the South Korean military since its adoption in 1985. The K2 features a folding stock, some parts resembled FN FNC, and has similar external appearance to the AR-18.
