cylon centurion

A fictional robot soldier from the Battlestar Galactica science fiction TV series.

The Cylon Centurion is the most basic Cylon soldier unit. It is heavy armored, very strong and resilient, although slow and not very smart. However, they are also armed with long range weapons and their perfect accuracy makes them dangerous enemies.

They are usually deployed in vast numbers and always tend to overwhelm their opponents rapidly and with deadly precision.

The centurions also have swords and concealed blades in their forearms for close quarters combat against the human colonists.

One of their most distinctive characteristics is a bright red sensor "eye" which constantly oscilates from side to side and stops when a lock on its target is achieved.
