Cutlery refers to handheld tools used for the consumption of food, often found in Western tables and comprises forks, spoons, knives, and other similar utensils, such as sporks.

While often used interchangeably with utensils, utensils cover a larger range of tools (such as ladles), where cutlery more specifically refers to items you’d find on a dining table.
