corrupted mynah (signalis)

Mynahs in their corrupted state. These are the most dangerous variety of enemy encountered in Signalis, and are most notably used as the first boss encounter in the game.

Appearance

Corrupted Mynahs are the least diverged from their non-corrupted counterparts, only bearing a covering of oxidant fluid on their armor, particularly around the hands, arms, and chest. Corrupted Mynahs typically have their face shields closed most of the time, but will occasionally open it in order to release a flow of oxidant fluid and worms from the cavity containing their face. Interestingly, according to the boss intro cutscene, corrupted Mynahs still have their faces intact, unlike every other corrupted replika seen in game.
