conte di cavour nuovo (kancolle)

The second remodel of Conte di Cavour from Kantai Collection, released at the same time as her debut in the Kancolle 2021 Summer Event in August 2021.

The main difference between the base form and the remodel is that the remodel's dress doesn't have sleeves.

This is a hypothetical remodel based on plans to modernize her following heavy damage incurred in the Battle of Taranto that went unfinished at the time of the Armistice of Cassibile in September 1943. The superfiring 320 mm turrets were to have carried two-step platforms for additional AA weapons (work was already done by summer 1943); the 120 mm turrets, while not removed, were to have been modified to receive the new 135 mm dual purpose twin mounts, and an additional Gufo radar installed on the foremast.
